Throughout the various platforms and databases that Surf Wisely uses to register, inform, and provide services to schools, required data from participants often falls under the definition of “directory information”.  This information can include, but is not limited to, a student’s name;  e-mail address.  Surf Wisely does not request social security numbers. Schools and/or students have the option to enter school-provided student identification numbers.  In many cases, under our agreements with schools, Surf Wisely is performing an institutional service or function that a school would otherwise assign to its own employees, under the direct control of the school.  As such, Surf Wisely is acting as a school official.

Classlink provides OneClick single sign-on into web and Windows applications, and instant access to files at school and in the cloud.
